Built for general contractors

You are not losing money on bad jobs. You are losing it on the paperwork around good ones.

Estimates, change orders, progress billing, retainage, selections and crew hours in one system. Turn on the parts you need, pay for those, and leave the rest switched off.

No credit card. No sales call. Set up in minutes.

Where the money goes

Six ways a profitable job stops being profitable

None of these are about working harder. Every one of them is a gap between the work you did and the money you kept.

Money you earned but never chased

You finished the job. Five to ten percent is still sitting with the owner, and nobody is tracking it because your invoices never had a place to put it.

43% of contractors wait more than 90 days for final payment and retainage. Nearly one in five waits six months.

DocJoist, 2026

Retainage tracked per job, with the age of every hold, and a one-click release invoice.

Billing that takes a night and still comes back wrong

The monthly pay application is a spreadsheet you rebuild every time, and one number in the wrong place sends the whole draw back for another thirty days.

Commercial construction now averages 83 days from invoice to payment, up from 71 in 2020. 92% of subcontractors floated payroll out of their own pocket last year.

Buildermuse; Contractor Magazine, 2026

Break the contract into line items once, bill each month by how far along each one is, and print the pay application forms banks and architects ask for (AIA-style G702 and G703) with the math already done.

Estimates that die of silence

You spent four hours on a bid, sent it, and heard nothing. You do not know if they read it or if it went to spam.

60 to 70 percent of estimates die from silence, not from losing on price. Followed up quotes close at 32% against 11%.

PushLeads; Hatch

Automatic follow-ups on day 2, 5 and 10, and an alert the moment your customer opens the estimate.

The change nobody wrote down

They said go ahead in the driveway. Now it is on the invoice and they do not remember saying it.

Poorly managed change orders raise project cost 10 to 15 percent. In California and New York, putting a change order in writing is a condition of holding your license.

Rhumbix; state licensing boards

Your customer types their name to approve it. We record that name, the date and time, and the internet address (IP) they approved from, along with photos of what caused the change.

Your word against theirs

They say the crack was there before you started. You think it was too, but you cannot prove it.

Without before photos, contractors usually lose the argument. Time-stamped photos with GPS on them are the strongest proof you can have.

Contractor Foreman

Every job photo carries its location and the time it was taken, and one button prints the whole record as a PDF.

Waiting on a tile decision

Nothing can be ordered until they pick the tile. Two weeks later they still have not picked the tile, and the delay is somehow your fault.

Remodelers lose 8 to 10 hours per project managing selections and allowances, and indecision is the top cause of schedule slip.

VirtualNexGen

A selections list with decide-by dates, a link your customer can use without logging in, and a running over or under against every allowance.

Three promises the big platforms will not make

Priced for your size

The established platforms are honest about who they serve. One reviewer running $190,000 a year was told the vendor is not your friend unless your volume exceeds two million dollars. We are built for the contractor they are describing.

Your data leaves when you do

One button downloads every record in your account. No support ticket, no export fee, no hostage situation. The loudest complaint about the software you are probably using today is that you cannot get your own files out.

The crew menu stays short

Field crew see six things: their jobs, the clock, photos, tasks, messages and the knowledge base. Every feature we add is an office feature. That is deliberate and it is not going to change.

Build your price

For scale: CompanyCam, which does job photos and not much else, publishes $63 a month for a single user on annual billing plus $29 for every user after that. Foundation covers photos with GPS and time stamps, daily logs, punch lists, scheduling and selections, for your whole crew, at $49 flat.companycam.com/pricing, September 2026

What the alternatives ask for

Published rates as of September 2026, with the source next to each one. Most of this market sells you a tier and a user cap. Everything above is you choosing, and the field never counts against your seat total.

Questions, answered

Who is this for?

General contractors, remodelers, custom builders and specialty trades who want jobs, estimates, time and billing in one system instead of five.

How does the pricing actually work?

Foundation is $49 a month and every account has it. After that you tick the modules you want and each one adds its own price. Tick most of the list and the everything price of $199 takes over automatically, so you can never end up paying more for less.

What happens when the free trial ends?

The trial switches every module on for 30 days so you can see the whole thing. When it ends you pick what you are keeping. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged until you choose.

Can I change my modules later?

Yes, any month, up or down. Add Progress Billing for the commercial job you just won and drop it again after. Your data stays either way.

Do you charge per user?

Only for office seats, and the first three are included. Field crew accounts are unlimited and free, forever. Your crew growing should not be a bill.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Thirty days, just an email. You only pay if you decide to keep using it.

Can I bill commercial work?

Yes. Break the contract into line items once (your schedule of values), bill each month by how far along each line is, and print the pay application forms with retainage already worked out. That is the Invoicing and Progress Billing module.

Can I get bids from my subs?

Yes. Open a job, invite several subs to bid a trade, and their prices land on one board so you can compare them side by side and award the winner in a click. Each sub opens a link and sends a price with no login, and you can type in a bid a sub gave you over the phone. It comes with the Estimating and Proposals module.

What are the G702 and G703?

They are the standard pay application forms from the AIA (the American Institute of Architects), used to bill commercial and bank-financed jobs. The G702 is the one-page summary: contract amount, change orders, what has been billed so far, retainage held and what is due this month. The G703 is the line-by-line backup showing how far along each part of the job is. If a lender or architect has ever asked for your pay app, this is what they meant. Our printout follows the same layout and numbering so they can read it, but it is not the official AIA form. Most residential work never needs one.

Does it work with QuickBooks?

Yes, QuickBooks Online. Connect it once and the customers and invoices you create here are sent to QuickBooks, matched to customers you already have so nothing is doubled up. When a customer pays and you record it in QuickBooks, the invoice is marked paid here. It comes with the Invoicing and Progress Billing module. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.

Will my crew actually use it?

It is built for a phone in a work glove. Each person only sees the menu their role needs, and the field menu is deliberately short.

Is my data private?

Every company’s data is fully isolated. No one else can see your jobs, customers or numbers, and your customers only see what you send them, branded as your company rather than ours.

What if I want to leave?

Download every record in one click, whenever you want. Cancel online from Plan & Features at any time and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. We would rather earn the renewal than trap you.

Do you give refunds?

Payments are not refunded for a partial month or year, which is why there is a 30-day free trial with no card first. You can cancel any time and you will not be charged again.
